The iconic Clubhouse is the heart of our membership-based community. The Great Lawn is the perfect venue for social gatherings, weekly Member Mixers, and private events. Don’t be surprised if you find a friendly game of croquet going on, or friends gathering around the firepit reliving the day over drinks, light fare, and a view towards the ocean.
Over in ʻUmeke Kitchen + Bar, Executive Chef Ben Takahashi works with Kukuiʻula’s Farm, local fisherman, ranchers and purveyors, to prepare farm-to-fork, ocean-to-table dishes with a ‘Kauai Elevated’ approach to Hawaiian Regional cuisine. The Club’s sommelier is on hand to help select the perfect wine or libation to complement each meal.
Take a short stroll through lush gardens and you’ll find the Makai Pools with their waterfalls, sand-bottom pool,and water slides offer a fun place for kids and adults to play. The Makai Grill + Bar offers shaded seating and poolside service. Enjoy poke bowls, salads, sandwiches, and other no-fuss dishes made with produce from The Farm. It’s the perfect spot to compare scores after a round of golf. Every Sunday evening, we offer poolside grilling, a menu of favorites, and a view of the Pacific as the sun sets to make for the perfect finale to the weekend.
Famed golfer, Tom Weiskopf, designed the challenging 18-hole Kukuiʻula golf course Golf Digest called “One of the Best Courses in Hawaii.” The Golf Clubhouse includes private locker rooms and golf shop, staffed by teaching PGA Pros and friendly attendants. There’s a multitude of curated activities and annual tournaments for all levels of golfers, from the first timer to the scratch player. Individual and group instruction is available for all ages and skill level. Among members, the challenging 14th hole, sometimes described as “a quintessential Weiskopf par 4,” has become legendary—and not just because of its dramatic ocean views, occasionally populated by spinner dolphins and humpback whales.
Four tennis and three brand new pickleball courts are right next door, available for practice, lessons, and match play. In addition to private instructional tennis sessions, we offer three levels of instruction. Beginners can enjoy a simple, approachable way to get started in the game with general skills and techniques. For the Level B Player, our “Drill & Play” program is a great way to shake off the rust and in a controlled,competitive game. For the advanced player, our instructors up your game with high-pressure gameplay scenarios and successful match strategies.
For the beginning pickleball play we offer an introduction program where you’ll learn the general rules and techniques of the game. Our Pickleball Player’s Club is for advanced participants interested in mastering game strategy. Unlike standard matches, during this one-hour instructional group program our Tennis Pro presents players with high-pressure gameplay scenarios, play-by-play techniques, and how to succeed during match points.
Lush meditation gardens, a secluded adult lap pool, and spacious movement studio anchor Kukuiʻula’s extensive wellness complex. Our Hiʻilani Spa features custom treatments, and tonics that are infused with garden botanicals grown on-site. After indulging in a massage, acupuncture, or aesthetician services, enjoy the spa’s private lounges and locker rooms with outdoor showers, steam and sauna rooms, and hot and cold plunge pools for the ultimate relaxing getaway in Poipu, Kauai. You can walk, hike or bike upcountry to the organic 10-acre Farm.
