A homesite in Kukuiula, a private club development on Kauai, recently sold for $8.65 million. According to an announcement from the development, it is the highest-priced homesite sold on the island’s South Shore.

Homesite N offers an “extraordinary opportunity” within the 1,010-acre residential and resort community’s Kula Makai neighborhood “to design and construct a world-class residence along the western fringe of Kukuiula,” the announcement noted.

According to the announcement, the homesite is just over an acre in size and has a graded, level foundation along with views of the Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole golf course and the Pacific Ocean. Perched atop a promontory, the homesite has “panoramic vistas of the coastline and the open ocean to the south and west,” the announcement further noted.

Kula Makai is one of 10 distinct neighborhoods in Kukuiula. Few lots remain in Kula Makai, which start at $3.5 million, and there are a handful of homesites in the Aepo Nei neighborhood available as well, according to the announcement.
