Carol Meckling, artist and owner of Hāloa Gallery, offers an acrylic paint workshop, inspired by all things Hawaiʻi.
“Raised in the Chicago area in a family with Portuguese roots from Oʻahu, childhood visits to Hawaiʻi awakened my sense of awe and connection to the beauty of the Hawaiian culture. I believe in the transformative power of creativity. Art, to me, is a journey of self-discovery and personal evolution, an invaluable instrument to constantly explore, understand and interpret the world around us.”
