True to Paradise

On 1,000 acres of the sunny south shore of Kauai, Kukuiula was conceived as a down-to-earth paradise, a private club with an open Hawaiian heart. Here, a community farm and a private Tom Weiskopf golf course are at home; the clubhouses, spa and bungalows are inspired by plantation simplicity and artisanship; and families experience the rich contentments of simple pleasures and healthful, whole living.

Aloha

It's often said that Kukuiula has an old Hawaii soul and simplicity. There’s an enduring rural charm here, a nostalgia for the Hawaii of dirt roads and roosters, of no building higher than a coconut palm and a delicious 25 mile per hour speed limit. Mixed in, there’s a deep love of custom, hula, the language, history and food from the red earth. There’s affection for plantation-style architecture, modestly beautiful, logical and lyrical. And there’s the element of breath underneath it all, the little thing they call aloha.

The Plantation House is quietly grand, inspired by a romantic whisper. The front door opens out onto palms, pools and the Pacific. It’s a deep breath
of a view, a vastly satisfying panorama of paradise, a homecoming.

‘Ohana’ – family – is our proudest possession. Kukuiula is a community that gathers together generations – from the Plantation House to the fire pit – where families can watch the sunset. From the pools to the community farm, families work and play and in the airy Keiki and games room, families can indulge in old fashioned past-times and new-fangled play, from skittles to video games.
